Been running two of these in 24V series at 1-2 kWh per night for 6 mo. with no hiccups whatsoever! Solar charger pumps electrons in at 20A in the morning and these are rated much higher (always good to oversize batts) - never have gotten hot or even warm, barely have a heat signature on an infrared camera. Excellent quality, USA! Just ordered two more.

Two of these beasts have been powering my solar powered van camper for nearly a year now. I've been living in it full-time for a few months, and these charge so well every day. I have them in parallel, so 700ah at 12v. Using a 60a mppt charge controller and 800w of solar, these get around 30a of charge in full sun, and they are full after an hour or two every morning. It's more efficient to use as few batteries as possible to achieve your necessary amp hour capacity, so two of these were the best batteries on the market to achieve 700ah.

I have two of these beasts in parallel. They are used to power a Go-Power 3000 watt inverter on my boat. They replaced two 8D UPG brand batteries and they are not even in the same league as fare as I'm concerned. The VMAX have much more capacity and holds voltage much better under high load than the UPG's did when they were new. Note: they are heavier and a bit wider than most 8D's.

Have an RV, installed this battery + ~400W rooftop solar to keep it topped off when camping. Works great! Can use basic appliances (microwave, etc.) as needed, run radios, etc. during day, and even run A/C on it for ~1.5 hrs... not that that's needed in general... It's definitely a bit heavy - get someone to help install it...
