I bought two of these batteries for my boat using a Minn Kota 55 lb thrust 12v trolling motor. I set them up with a battery switch so I could use either battery or put the batteries in parrallel. I took them fishing for the first time for a 4 day trip. and only used one of the two batteries. All day, from 7am to 8pm I used this battery to hold position, to follow a course or to move the boat. I even used it to troll for about an hour. the single battery lasted all day long and only registered 75% power after a long day with lots of use. I will update in 6 months after I've put some more use on them. Jan 2020 Had the batteries about a year now Very pleased with the purchase Even thinking I could have got away with only one battery with my 18' boat with minnkota trolling motor Trolled 7 hours one day at 1.8 mph using only one battery and it barely dropped to 85% I fished 2.5 days and one battery did all the work till it needed recgarging after the weekend of fishing I now switch between batteries to get equal discharge and charge cycles on them Hope to get over four years Or better out of these. Update Dec 2020 Have been using two of these batteries now for 2 seasons on my 18ft boat for powering an electric trolling motor, have had many 6-8 hour days fishing where I used the trolling motor for 80% of the day and never had to switch to the other battery. I live in Northern Ohio and never take the batteries out of the boat, I make sure they have full charge when I put the boat away for the winter. Hopefully they will be lasting me 3 or 4 more years, as I saw no noticeable drop in performance over the first two years I've been using them.
