Installed in my motorhome and didn't run my generator two times on our last trip. Great batteries.

Got the RV batteries on time and in perfect condition. Installation went great. Very happy! The exterior dimensions of the battery case was the exact size needed for a perfect fit in my limited compartment and the tech support l received from Vmax prior to purchase was excellent.

I bought 4 V6-225 AGM batteries (12 volt bank) in February 2013, and am replacing them with the same now (February 2024) as the voltage is not staying above 12.0 when the fridge runs constantly in the Florida heat. Eleven years was a pretty good run. I attribute that to their working well with the 2 100 watt rooftop solar panels keeping them topped off on sunny days. I never let them drop below a 50% charge, using a built it charger whenever the sun didn't shine. Overall, worked well for me.

Great batteries, great price, great customer service. They store all our electric from our solar panels.

I set up four 6V - 225ah batteries in series then parallel for 12V at 450ah on my van build and they are working great! They are also smaller than usual 12V batteries. If you are looking for a great choice without spending on lithium battery prices then this is for you!

We purchased 2 VMAXTANKS to install as part of getting started with solar in our RV in July of 2018. We live full time with these and have for 2-1/2 years now with these as our off-grid power source. We have found them great for all intended purposes. We have used them both on and off-grid. Meaning when the power goes out we never even know it. For the money they are worth it. I have also helped other full timers using the Vmax family of batteries installed for their solar set-up. When these die, if they do, we will be looking into the Vmax family again but will be going Lithium. NOPE! I am not getting paid to say this. Nor was I given anything. Just an honest guys opinion as a full time Rv'er. Hope this is helpful.

Bought two for a series 12V 225AH DC system. When they arrived the packaging was some what damaged but the batteries were fine. Have worked flawlessly. I keep them charged and maintained with either the VMAX 20A charger or 400 watts of solar through a 20A Renogy MPPT charge controller. AC to the VMAX charger is via shore power or portable generator. These are the first AGM batteries I've purchased or ever owned and I am totally satisfied with them. Their performance has been consistent and superb in my camper in low temperature conditions which is when I use them the most for running a 12V heated mattress pad, LED lighting, device charging, and a 400 watt inverter for my laptop. Why 6V golf cart batteries? There are three 2.1v cells in the 6-volt battery. The 6-volt battery has more space per cells and the plates are thicker and will last longer. The 6 volt will be able to discharge deeper than any 12-volt deep cycle. Two 6 volt batteries will give you a lot higher amperage than one 12V battery. AGM batteries? Leading advantages of AGM are a charge that is up to FIVE times faster than the flooded version. AGM offers a depth-of-discharge of 80 percent; the flooded, on the other hand, is specified at 50 percent DoD to attain the same cycle life. The AGM battery is also able to be installed in any orientation and stand up well to very LOW TEMPERATURES.
